CMS Data Download
The project involves web scraping to automate data downloads and post-processing of CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) data for Polis Center . We developed a Python script that automatically navigates through a series of various filters available on the webpage and downloads the required data. The data downloaded is utilized in the Stage of Aging in Indiana report and other polis center reports. This automation process saves a lot of time and reduces manual effort significantly when hundreds and thousands of files need to be downloaded to create comprehensive reports.
