Weekly Meetings on Project Progression
Monday: Meeting with Your Project Manager
- Meet with your project manager every Monday to set your weekly goals (via Teams or email).
- Let your project manager know the tasks you plan to complete from Monday through Sunday.
- The project manager will update the project timeline with your assigned tasks.
- Check the GitHub project section to confirm your weekly tasks have been added to the specific project you’re working on.
Tuesday: 10 AM Weekly Update Meeting
- Updates are covered in the order listed on the Data Science Team Google Sheet.
- If your name is near the top of the Google sheet list, please join the meeting at 10 AM. If you’re listed further down, join a little later to avoid waiting.
Tuesday: 11 AM COMET Lab General Meeting
- Attend (in-person or online) to learn about new opportunities and projects from the professor.
- Sometimes extra work is available, giving a chance to earn more hours.
Friday: Project Updates
- Project Manager Update Meeting: Share your progress with your project manager via email or meeting (Before Each Friday at noon).
- 3:00 PM (Jay’s Projects): Updates are reviewed based on the Google Sheet project allocation list. This meeting is for anyone working on Jay’s projects, but others are welcome to join to see what’s happening on these projects.
- 4:00 PM Onward (Other Projects): Meetings for other projects start after Jay’s meeting wraps up.
Note:
If unable to attend any of the meetings (except the COMET Lab General Meeting), please provide a reason for your absence to the project manager and the heads of the data science team. Also, share a brief summary of the tasks completed to stay on track with your project(s) in line with the objectives of each meeting.
